Frank Leimback
Funeral services for Frank A. Leimback of Detroit, 72 yrs old, were held Tues morning at 9:30 in St. Patrick's Church, Carleton, following prayers at the home of a a sister, Mrs. Bertha Trombley, 2210 Grange Road, Trenton. The rites were conducted by the Rev. Wm. L. Shaw, priest of the parish. Burial was in the family lot in St. Patrick's cemetery. Capt. Leimback, a Coast Guard officer who retired in 1920, died Sat. Death was the result of heart disease. Captain of a light ship for more than 30 yrs, following his retirement, Mr. Leimback was hospitalized in the Marine Hospital, Detroit, for 3 years. He was born Dec 7, 1872 the son of John and Catherine Leimback, on the family farm on Stoney Creek Road, Scofield. Surviving are his widow, Florence of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Trombley and Mrs. Regina Trombley of Wyandotte; five brothers, Peter of Detroit, Leo of Wyandotte, Antonio, Edward and Phillip all of Belleville, and several nieces and nephews.
